Styling a Silk Scarf : 3 Different Ideas

I’m not really one to keep up with trends, I tend to stick more with what I feel comfortable wearing. I think its best that you like what you look like the most, before anybody else.
Something that I’ve always loved, and am particularly loving right now are silk scarves. They’ve been around for a very long time and are so classic and glamorous. Plus, there are a million styles and color options. So much variety.

And while I personally would wear a scarf this way, like my fashion idol Grace Kelly, I'll talk about a few more ideas too.
If the head scarf isn’t your style, here are 3 classic ways to style the ever lasting silk scarf.

Around your Neck

Endless options here. This is the most classic, as well as most popular way to style a scarf. With the casual loose tie, handkerchief style, knotted, wrapped, I could go on. There are just a bevy of ways and styling options.

On your Bag

Very Gossip Girl inspired, only you don’t have to have a Birkin bag in this case. Tying a bright silk scarf on your bag is ‘easy accessorizing 101’. You can use your scarf to add a certain color pop to your full look, or even as a way to cover a nasty scratch on your favorite leather satchel.

In your Hair

Not as daring as the ‘Grace Kelly’ (see above), but just as effective. I love the ‘silk scarf as a hair accessory thing. A perfect combination of modern meets old Hollywood. Best part is, any hair color, texture, or length works here!
Tie your hair up in a bun, and add a silk scarf to give the appearance that it took lots of effort (totally didn’t) or wear your hair down, and tie your scarf like a headband- leaving the bow you tied exposed. Or, try a turban style; always cute and cool.

Summer Conundrums: The Nature's Co.

Summer is here, Finally!
And while that brings a lot of happy choices for us(read kulfi v/s icecream, sherbet v/s cold drink) there are some things one does not particularly get excited about.
A grimy face laden with dirt and dust is one of them. I, for one, am an outdoor person which means I have to deal with such situations a lot.
To get rid of it, you have to use those chemical-ridden, excessively-drying facewashes that leave behind a residue.

It was all a big problem until I came across The Nature's Co. recently.

A few minutes with them made me realise they were all for natural solutions to skin problems.
I, hence, decided to try their Cool Cucumber Face Wash. As summer is here, I figured this will be the best choice.

Cucumber has a high healing property; It also tends to be very refreshing which is exactly what I experienced after using it for the first time! The aloe vera and willow tree extracts helped nourish and maintain the suppleness of the skin.
Whats more, the grime tend to be at bay for quite a while after using their product, which is very uncommon.
TNC's products do not contain harmful chemicals which is a special bonus for people like me, who have sensitive skin.
Even the preservatives they use are natural and do not harm the natural pH of the skin; All of this, and more, at very reasonable pocket friendly costs.

You can visit their website and look at some of other products by clicking HERE.
Alternatively, you can call on 022-24032212 for assistance.

If there are any other queries pertaining to skin care, do let me know in the comments below, or on instagram at ThirdWorldStyle, which is our updated user handle: different from the previous one.
