Fizzles : Fizzy Goblet

I am currently consumed by the trend of bellies. Comfort. Style. And the possibility to be different on every occasion, with every ensemble. They have it all.

Footwears can make or break a look, and juttis/bellies have the capability to go with day, as well as night looks. Its greater for students, who have to run from class-to-class and canteens in between.

I recently stumbled onto this group of jazzy entrepreneurs from Fizzy Goblet. Thing with footwears is, what you like, doesn't fit.. and what fits, you dont like..

Fizzy Gs, as they're popularly known, are HANDCRAFTED, which means each piece is unique, and uses authentic leather which means better fit!

Apart from all that, I really like it when companies pay attention to little detailings. The box, that they provide, is like a treasure box that can be repurposed  in many ways.

You can buy these, and more on

A Systematic Ploy : Dadri Lynching

The recent incidence of literal invasion of a private dwelling space of an individual in Dadri, Western U.P., on the basis of alleged eating habits of the person and his family, has sent the entire country, and beyond, into a shock.

This vicious war against a certain sect of society, founded on fundamentalist percepts of the 'Holy War' by a section of Sangh Parivar really sent me into a scare.

Now, dont get me wrong. I am not a Priyamvada-Bano-Singh, I, infact, am a Hindu Nationalist. A Hindu- by birth, and a Nationalist- by beliefs.

Also, speaking in the for of the aforementioned section of society is like sending out a public invite - to criticise your thinking/ writing/ breathing, you know.

Think about it, What if it were Haider Hussain, instead of Hardik Patel on the podium? Would we be this calm about a man organising a rally of 5,00,000 people, spewing hate speech?

And, when it comes to beliefs, is it really about religion? Or non-tolerance ? Think about it, a man was killed because the killers believed he ate beef. Tomorrow, a jain might be justified to lynch my house for eating chicken. Gujratis might murder Punjabis for eating onions. What will this world come to? Why is it okay, infact, to kill a screaming chicken and to boil and eat it, but NOT a cow or pig?

These self claimed government-agents and order-maintainers of the society, ordering- dont eat this, dont go out at night, produce more children- they just help in making people agitate against each other for personal practices.

These perpetrators need to be shunned. The PM needs to speak. Something needs to be done.

The very idea of India is in danger.
To be honest, I am kind of scared I might be lynched tonight by Vaishnavs, for liking garlic on my pizza.

Or vegans, for liking cheese on my pizza.

Random Tantrums.

As all of you already know, accessories form a very crucial part of an ensemble.
It can be the deciding factor to see whether a look works or not.

You can either pair traditional clothes with traditional attire ( kurta + jhumkas ) and modern  clothes with modern accessories (maxi dress + tassle earrings and neckpiece)

Alternatively, you can mix and match pieces and outfits. This works especially for modern wears. A mini dress with drop earrings is great idea.

Talking about fusion attires, it isn't very often that you come around a collection of jewellery that involves that perfect combination of being ethnic and modern all in one.

This rather upcoming venture-- Random Tantrum, has various collections with a very interesting theme to each one. Today I've tried a few pieces from their collection, which involves an amazing blend of modern and traditional, along with some chunky pieces, to create accessories that are transitional and can certainly bring quite a difference to your look.

I decided to try a little Bohemian meets festive look, then a girl-next-door look in the other one. You can take a closer look at the jewellery in the pictures below.

You can see all of their collection at the tantrumdiaries.blogspot.com , they have unconventional items like dreamcatcher necklaces as well.

Alternatively, 9892891315 for whatsapp is available too.

The jewelleries come in a cute little red box. You can save these to store them as well.

MakeUp Revolution London: Blush Lacquer-Rush Swatch and Review

Blushes form an integral part of makeup routine. They bring about colour and give a healthier, more radiant tone to the skin.

The October FabBag gave its subscribers an option to choose one item of their choice from a list they provided.

I chose the product that is the title of this post. MUR: Blush Lacquer-Rush.

I had been crushing on it for quite some time and had been planning to buy it.

When I recieved the product. It was like meeting your favourite childhood superhero in person.

Firstly, let me show you what the product looks like.

When I first saw the product online, I had expected it to be a long sleek bottle made of glass and quite an amount of product inside.

However the bottle turned out to be plastic and the amount was equal to the first section of my index finger.

See the picture below.

The product is for people who prefer heavy makeup instead of natural. The colour is matte pink and quite a cute shade.
Just a drop is enough to cover 1 side of your cheek.

Its will not give a cheek stain like effect, the MUR: Blush Lacquer-Rush is a product for when you're getting ready for marriage and festivities.

It has a super long stay power and is waterproof too. A drop on either side of apple of your cheeks and your skin looks glowing like never before.

Though the amount of product is relatively less to what I had expected, the product is actually worth the investment.

I will put up a picture in this shade in a while on insta. You can follow me there @toofanibihari

I have been busy with studies for the past couple of days (psst..im lying. I was procrastinating like a pro :-P )

But there's more stuff coming up soon so stay tuned x

October Fab Bag: Products and Review

I recieved the October Fab Bag recently and contrary to what happened last month, this month it arrived quite early. This was a pleasant surprise.

The bag's theme this month was 'Festival' and hence from the bag to the fab post( fab bag's monthly magazine) everything was about festivities.

Quite a few new brands were introduced this month but more about it later.

What was different this month, is that they gave the subscribers an option to choose 1 product in their bag.

I chose a product that I was crushing on for quite a while: MakeUpRevolution London Blush lacquer-Rush.

There is a separate product review about it, please go check it out. :)

Apart from that the magenta+red bag contained the following Items:-

Notice the red+magenta sponge-filled bag they provided this month. The gota was quite the detail.

My favourite item this month was the Nyassa Tiramisu Body Scrub.  It smelled like heaven and it said to contain raw cane sugar!!

The Palmer is a new brand and I can safely say that it lives up to the  expectations. It spreads a lot and does a lot using less amount of product.

The white jasmine facepack is a bit pricey, but is your go-to product when you are in a hurry and want instant results from your facepack.

These brands are new to the market and are available only in few places online. However,if you want to indulge and are willing to spend that much, trust me they wont let you down.

You can subscribe to the fab bag at www.fabbag.com

It is available for both men and women.

Let me know which product you'd like me to review next in the comments below.

That is it for now. Bye guys :)

The Best Ever Pantene Review + Olay Day Cream Review

Until about 2 years ago, I always neglected my hair and never took very good care of it, while simultaneously using styling tools on it very often. This ultimately resulted in a lot of damage, hairfall, and frizziness.

So when I recieved a package from Procter and Gamble a while back and I decided to give a try to The Best Ever Pantene.

The claim was a big one. I was curious to know if the claims would actually hold up. And I WAS SURPRISED!

After only 2 washes my hair felt smoother and shinier. The one I got was hairfall control and though I couldn't see visible results of that, the frizziness and the untameable nature of my hair significantly decreased.

This range consists of Keratin and helps repair 10 signs of damage to the hair, while protecting it from further damage and moisturising it intensely. By working through the core of the hair, it makes it stronger on the inside while making it shinier on the outside. But of course, there's no telling until you've tried it, right?

Although there was a visible improvement in the condition of my hair and an evident reduction of frizziness on the first usage itself, I decided to give the product a few more tries before coming to a final decision on how I felt about it.

Normally, my hair is very dry and I can go about 3 (sometimes 4) days without washing it, with the help of dry shampoo of course. After using the shampoo and conditioner for 2 weeks, I've noticed that although my hair feels so much healthier and moisturised, it doesn't get greasy and I don't find the need to shampoo that often. Which is a total win for me! Besides that, my hair just feels so much stronger and softer.

I've never noticed such a radical change just 2 weeks after using a product, so needless to say, I am extremely happy with this range, and if you're on the lookout for a solution to damaged hair, I urge you to give this a go and see for yourself! It won't burn a hole in your pocket either!

Moreover, it costs just 75/- rupees for 80 ml ! Cost is very reasonable. It is certainly working for me.

Coming to Olay day cream,

Many people think Olay is only an anti-ageing solution. Contrary to that belief, Olay has something for each age group (leaving the kids :P)

This day cream, upon a few days of regular use, showed my dryness to decrease. I also felt my dullness to slightly decrease too.

I had used Olay's natural white facewash and I was more than satisfied with it. Although its cost is what it is, they provide products worth the money you pay them.

That is it for now. Stay tuned for more :)

Bio-Oil Review

The Bio-Oil is a new product in the market that is gradually increasing its fan base here in India.

I was a bit skeptical to buy it at first, since it costs 450/- rupees for 60 ml but then I decided to splurge a little cuz I had heard so much about it. Since it is manufactured in Cape Town and imported here, the taxes justify.

The bio-oil claims to contain calendula, chamomile and rosemary oil. It says to help in -scars, -stretch marks, -uneven skin tone and -dehydrated skin.

NOW, I recently got burnt with an iron on my right upper arm ( Don't ask me how :P). I have included a picture of the scar down below. Now, I had read up on bio-oil's scar healing properties and I must say, although it works slow cuz its natural.. but it gives quite sustainable results!

I dont have a before and after picture of the scar so I will show you just the current state, but yeah, I did benefit frpm this. The only thing is, you need to stick to the routine and apply it daily. Twice. And NOT skip.

My scar decreased in radius and most of the skin around is my natural skin tone now.

Also, it smells AMAZING. Not like phenylalanine like most of the no-scar-thingies do..so YAY ! ^_^

Stay Quirky NailPolish : Swatch and Review

Stay Quirky is a relatively new brand in the market but it is quite catching on with the trend.

I recieved a few shades a few days ago :
Golden, maroon and one in black graffiti (shade#39) for top coat.

I have attached a few pictures along for you to get an idea about these shades. Now, im not able to mention the numbers on the other two cuz it dont see them mentioned on the bottle myself.

The brand claims itself to contain the 'golden rule and everything cool' -and from there you can know they do take their name quite seriously. :P

1. It dries up super fast . Infact so fast you might mess it up a bit if you dont apply it correctly, and in swift motions.

2. The shades are abundanttttttttt. You want it, they have it.

3. Reasonable costs!! Costs starting from less than a hundred too!!

4.STAYING POWER
I wrote the upper point in bold cuz my nails went through PHENYL water, and they still didn't fade, their shine didn't lose, and they didn't chip too!! I really am not kidding! Thats the whole point of this blog, showcasing newer brands 'who are worth it'- and trust me, they are!

You can follow them on instagram @stayquirky.in

They are currently available on purplle. Im attaching a few pictures along. On my index and middle finger I have applied the graffiti shade on top of colours(4th picture), and on the thumb I applied it in 1 coat without any other colour so you can have an idea about the colour and texture et all.

The pictures have gone through NO filters.

Seduction Las Vegas Swatch Shade # 17

I woke up this morning to a courier guy who delivered me a seduction las vegas lipstick Shade #17.

Now, surely there manyyyy lipstick brands and shades in the market so whats different in this, you might be wondering. Well, let me tell you.

1. ITS 100% VEG!!

No, really. It contacts pearls and pigments under schedule Q and its major constituents include Castor oil & bees wax !
No dead animal fats on your lips. Eep!

2. It smells amazing! ^_^

Yeah. Due to the paraffin wax.

3. No transfers to your teeth.

The major turnoff for me in a lipstick is when you have to make extra efforts to keep your lipstick away from your teeth otherwise you'll be in red teeth for everybody to see.

SLV lipsticks pose no such problems

4. I wont bullet number now and say everything in one go now.

It contains beeswax!! The creamy texture doesn't dry your lips and I personally didnt feel the need of a separate lipgloss.

Im not a fan of nude shades but it is legit the first time I actually loved a nude shade (#17)!

It is like those good lipsticks my mum used to have back in the days. Nice smell, good stay, proper texture.

They are SO REASONABLY priced.

So, Will I buy off of them? Definitely. No questions. Try them once you'll know why. ;)

You can buy them off of instagram( @seduction_las_vegas) or you can email them at ' customercare@seductionlasvegas.com '

They are on fb too!! Www.fb.com/seductionlasvegas

IMPORTANT -- Mention my name, Priyamvada Singh, and they will not charge you extra money for shipping.

Arent they sweeet?? ^_^

Im posting a few pictures of the shade I recieved too. It goes with wheatish and fair skin tones. The lower lip contains two coats and the upper lip just 1, so you can have a clear idea of the colour.

And hey, the pics have gone through NO FILTERS so this is what the shade actually look like be assured. :)
