A Systematic Ploy : Dadri Lynching

The recent incidence of literal invasion of a private dwelling space of an individual in Dadri, Western U.P., on the basis of alleged eating habits of the person and his family, has sent the entire country, and beyond, into a shock.

This vicious war against a certain sect of society, founded on fundamentalist percepts of the 'Holy War' by a section of Sangh Parivar really sent me into a scare.

Now, dont get me wrong. I am not a Priyamvada-Bano-Singh, I, infact, am a Hindu Nationalist. A Hindu- by birth, and a Nationalist- by beliefs.

Also, speaking in the for of the aforementioned section of society is like sending out a public invite - to criticise your thinking/ writing/ breathing, you know.

Think about it, What if it were Haider Hussain, instead of Hardik Patel on the podium? Would we be this calm about a man organising a rally of 5,00,000 people, spewing hate speech?

And, when it comes to beliefs, is it really about religion? Or non-tolerance ? Think about it, a man was killed because the killers believed he ate beef. Tomorrow, a jain might be justified to lynch my house for eating chicken. Gujratis might murder Punjabis for eating onions. What will this world come to? Why is it okay, infact, to kill a screaming chicken and to boil and eat it, but NOT a cow or pig?

These self claimed government-agents and order-maintainers of the society, ordering- dont eat this, dont go out at night, produce more children- they just help in making people agitate against each other for personal practices.

These perpetrators need to be shunned. The PM needs to speak. Something needs to be done.

The very idea of India is in danger.
To be honest, I am kind of scared I might be lynched tonight by Vaishnavs, for liking garlic on my pizza.

Or vegans, for liking cheese on my pizza.
